Despite the name, this is actually for any of the trappings of Valdemar you'd like to throw into your favorite fandom - Companions, bondbirds, gryphons, Firecats, lifebonds, Gifts, teenage angst and a bit of melodrama... If it came from a book in the Valdemar universe, go for it.

Yes, it is alphabet/random song lyrics meme tiem again. Yes, I know I wrote hardly any of the prompts I got last time. That's not the point. I make no promises anything you post here will actually get something written for it, but I can try!

1) Pick a canon, a pairing, or a character you know I write, or at least know. Go look at my list of characters if you need some ideas/help, but if you know I have others not on that list, go for it.
2) Comment with said canon, pairing, or character and a song lyric/quote/prompt of some other kind.
3) Repeat as desired.

Then I will use those song lyrics as a prompt and write you fic! Yaaaaay!

( Let's pretend like this is an alphabet meme. Even if I know not all the letters will be filled, and people will probably double up on letters. Not the point. )

Yeah, I should be doing NaNo, but I've been sick all day and my brain keeps spazzing out on me, so... prompts seem like the way to go. (I am totally not finishing NaNo anyway - at this point, I'm just trying for any sort of productivity at all.)

1. Refer to my character list. There may be people I can't write right now, but that's a pretty good indicator of what and who I can write.
2. Pick a character/pairing/crossover thing and then pick a letter from the list below.
3. I will love you FOREVER if you give me a song lyric or a phrase that starts with the letter you chose. Like, I dunno... A is for "All I ever wanted, all I ever needed was here in your arms" or something. This is not NECESSARY, but if you have trouble coming up with something, I love longer prompts. Single word prompts are also ossum. REALLY, PROMPTS IN GENERAL ARE JUST COOL.
4. Especially if you're trying to give me lyrics or something, it gets KIND OF HARD to find prompts after a few people have answered, so if you really want to double up on a letter someone else has already picked, go for it. I won't mind. ^^

Okay, so I didn't exactly finish this the last time, but I came damn close. And this time, hopefully, I won't turn prompts into stupidly epic things so I'll actually be able to finish it. When it gets over 1000 words, you really can't consider it a drabble in any sense of the word. But I need to write at all, and maybe this will get my brain working properly again.

So after staying up for much longer than I should have and then sleeping twelve hours, I actually feel not-tired for the first time in ages. This is awesome.

I am also caught up on (almost) all my tags, and this is awesome as well.

The dog is extremely clingy this morning, which is less awesome. More annoying, really. I would understand if she just did it to Evie, who just got home, but no. It's mostly me. I have done nothing to deserve this. *Grumble*

I really don't feel like going through my story catalog and clicking on every single story, so all these first lines? Are from unfinished fics in my GoogleDocs (and a couple from various notebooks). Feel free to change names/pronouns/etc. to suit, if you like.
