My immune system really, really sucks. I have got to stop getting sick. Especially when this involves being nauseous and dizzy - much more then usual, I mean, because I'm usually at least a little of both those things. Today, though... well. The nausea comes and goes, but the dizzy is bad enough that I can't cross the room without stumbling, and half the time I try to stand up, I end up falling back down. It is BAD and not fun.
And on top of that, the puppy has eaten most of our warm socks, and my feet are cold, and I am Not Happy about this.
I did finish my
writerinadrawer story last night. And then had to cut 83 words because I got carried away. I was thinking about writing another one, but Evie liked it, so... Yes. I'm convinced she liked it just because of one particular line, but that's okay with me, because it's my favorite and I'm pleased with myself that I managed to not cut it. I'm also very excited for when voting comes up... partially because I'm curious if you guys know my writing style well enough to pick out which one's mine. I'm an odd person.
Gonna try and write now. I have that one story to finish for Rizzy... though I need to hunt down a clip from Gridlock and watch it real quick, just for... stuff... Gridlock. That is the most random episode to need to hunt down for this story. One of my favorites, though, for some weird reason, so I don't really mind. After I finish that... catching up on
itsproductivity would be nice. If I can focus long enough and the dog stops trying to eat my face.
Oh, and I need to think of a Rift power for Gwen. Nothing is immediately presenting itself, and that bothers me, because it's
Gwen. She should be
easy. *Grumble* Any suggestions?
EDIT: Oh, and one more thing. The only people who will get this are total West Wing geeks, and those I know on my flist are not into Doctor Who, but...
Lord John Marbury? So needs to be the next Doctor. Not the actor. The
character. I mean...
"The world is coming apart at the seams."
"Well then! Thank God you sent for me."Come on. It would be awesome.
