I woke up to find it raining. And thundering a little.

This actually pleases me a lot - I don't know, rain makes me happy. I was the sick and twisted kid who always hoped it would rain at school when the weather was looking bad so we would get to have lunch in the classroom and I could read without anyone bothering me. Plus, no PE. Rainy days were the best days ever.

Meanwhile, it's the weekend. Theoretically. I don't know, I've had the whole week off, thanks to extreme incompetence on the part of my store manager, so it doesn't mean a whole lot to me, but Evie has today off, so. There needs to be more mainlining of Supernatural, I think (damn you, Esther). Although something about the rain makes me want to curl up with hot chocolate and watch Studio 60. Maybe some combination of both.

I do need to do worldbuildy things with On a Saturday, though. And plotty things. Something in my brain still wants angels and demons. I am firmly telling it no, not that that seems to be working. The biggest problems I'm having is with the powers that be. Namely, whether there are any, and if there are, WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY? *Grumbles*

My universe hates me and so wants to be difficult. *Growr*

*beams!* I find this an excellent plan. S60 + hot chocolate = failsafe.

How far are you now in SPN?

Yes. I think there will be Doctor Who movie, then some Supernatural, then Studio 60. I like this plan a lot.

We have gotten up to "Faith". And OMG. LOVE. Just... LOVE. (Thank you for your enabling.)

*HEARTSTOP*

That is one of my favorite episodes in the whole series. You're past the point where it starts getting HOMG now. *griiiins*

Just... do me a favor. Have a copy of the S2 premiere available when you get to the end of S1. You will not want to wait, given the cliffhanger. It outdoes even TWW on that count. (After, of course, be prepared to be an absolute mess. Oh, show. *happysigh*)

I'll make sure to download it ahead of time, and thank you for the warning. You are a goddess.

YOU KNOW I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT.

You must, you must remain unspoiled for the S2 finale as well. Which unfortunately means you should stay away from all and I mean all the fanfic communities. But, I will hook you up with good unspoilery stuff in the meantime when/if you want.

*preens* You sure know how to make a girl's morning. :)

Rawr. Nonspoilery fic would be a good thing. Because yes, I fear spoilers like death itself. And so have read no fic at all, and this should be fixed.

Hang on. Evie and I are watching the beginning of "Route 666". I yelped, had to pause it, and leaped for the laptop just to say...

YOU DATED DEAN IN COLLEGE AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US? WHAT?

Evie: She's not really an Asian chick named Chloe. IT IS ESTHER.

....That is all. We're dorks. And apparently you must be involved when Athens is mentioned, because really, who else lives there?

EDIT: And apparently Evie can neither see nor hear, because the girl is black and her name is Cassie. I love her. (She claims she wasn't paying attention and only saw the guy out of the corner of her eye. WHATEVER.)

Comment jacking, but OMG. I felt so horrible for everyone who had to wait all summer after S1. It was bad enough when all I had to do was open a new file.

Man, I'm frustrated enough that now we have to wait until April for new episodes! I can't imagine the summer hiatus -- I got into the show last August, so I had time to inhale the series to date before S3 began airing.

I got into it in the middle of S2. I haven't actually watched the last new episodes they aired. I keep putting them off for just that reason. It's easier knowing that they're right there for me to download at any time.

At some point in the next few weeks, I'll break. :)

YOU can be the powers that be. That's much more fun. You can be the god with the cruel sense of humour, who likes toying with the people of the world. Doesn't that sound fun?

It's quite disturbing to have Freddie telling me all this. I don't quite know what to think. (Freddie, plz to be staying out of my LJ. *Pokes at him with a stick* My Freddie believes you're an imposter.)

That would be terribly amusing, actually... a little cruel, but amusing.

Yes, well, I was RPing Freddie/Mimi (22 year old pre-Florence Freddie! Who's still a virgin (surprisingly)! Awww! I want to hug him, he's so ickle.) and was too lazy to change.

Freddie does not approve of being poked with a stick. And he says YOUR Freddie is an impostor.

Wouldn't it? I mean, because, gods who mess with their subjects -- in the fictional world at least -- can't not be fun.

I so agree. Days with indoor recess at my school were done on a rotation by grade. You were either in the gymnasium, the library, the theater, or the computerlab. My favorite: library.

The Powers That Be could be like that King of the Universe dude from that crazy Japanese game! i.e. they're gone off on a bender and DESTROYED EVERYTHING! And now his miniature son has to roll up the universe to fix it!

...I still have trouble accepting that I actually played that game when I was in Japan, and wasn't just...you know, on drugs, or something. :D

...if you find your Powers That Be, though, do share. I have a world without them too. They WERE there at one stage. No idea where they went (although a couple of people are kind of looking for them...well, when theyre not trying to kill each other anyway). Maybe there's a place they all hang out...?
