Yuletide! :D

Dear Yuletide Author:
You get a gold star already just for offering to write one of these fandoms. You already have my love and adoration. All of the optional details are just that - completely optional. No matter what you write, I will love it. I am really, really easy to please when it comes to fic written for me.
Generally speaking, I like teams and chosen families, and snark and banter. I love angst, but it's not required at all - happy fic is fine too, and humor (gallows or otherwise) is good no matter what is actually happening in the fic. "Casefic" (for whatever value of "case" a given fandom might imply) is always good - I'm very fond of apocalypses, people killin' monsters/zombies/whatever, and really cool/unique applications of magic and/or science. Holiday fic is always a happy thing, as is general winter fic - winter is a magical thing for me and I love it no matter what. Not so big a fan of porn; I have no moral opposition to it or anything, it's just not my fannish happy place.
Newsflesh - Mira Grant
-Shaun Mason, Georgia Mason
This fandom is all about Georgia and Shaun for me. I don't care what you write, just as long as they're in it and being their adorable, snarky, codependent selves. The two of them at school or their first time in the field would be awesome. I adore epistolary fic, so if you wanted to write a fic entirely out of blog posts, I would love that. Or if you want to go angstier, the Blackout preview in the back of the book mentions Shaun trying to go a week without talking to his dead sister, and I'd really like to see that too.
For the record, as much as I love Georgia and Shaun, they are not my favorite characters in the series. Kellis-Amberlee is my favorite character in the series. If I were still in high school, I would have its name written in all my notebooks with little hearts and doodles of zombies drawn all around it. I love zombies like undead kittens, but they don't have to be on-screen to make me happy - I just love poking at all the ways the world's different with the virus everywhere, both the big differences and the tiny details. Most importantly: "We have what basically amounts to walking corpses, dude. Don't suck all the fun out of it."
Toby Daye - Seanan McGuire
-Any
There is nothing about this universe I don't love. Toby and Quentin and Tybalt are my favorites, with January and April and the Luidaeg being close runners-up. I don't care what you write here - my biggest wish is that it feels like canon. Casefic would be wonderful. So would pre-canon Toby, either tiny and living in the Summerlands, or living at Home with Devin, or whatever. Or a Quentin fic finds himself in some non-Toby-related trouble (which he promptly drags her into, naturally). Or a Tybalt fic of any kind, just to play with the Cait Sidhe, which are my favorite kind of fae.
As of writing this letter, I have not yet read An Artificial Night, but I will have by the time Yuletide stories get posted, so if you want to write something related to that book, that's cool too!
The Dresden Files - Jim Butcher
-Karrin Murphy
After reading "Aftermath", I think I want a whole series of books just about Murphy. Since I can't have that, I'll accept a fic. XD Pre-canon Murphy new to SI? Early stages of her working relationship with Harry? (I have been rereading early canon and cannot get over how often she used to try to arrest him and slam his face into things. I probably shouldn't find it as hilarious as I do.) Post-Aftermath Murphy heading up the Justice League of Chicago? Murphy taking up Fidelacchius? All of the above sound totally awesome to me.
If you feel comfortable enough with her voice, I would love if you could give me first-person Murphy POV fic, but that is not at all a requirement and seriously, do not feel like you have to do this. First-person is way above and beyond the call of Yuletide duty here.
Sparrow Hill Road - Seanan McGuire
-Rose Marshall, Apple
First of all, if this is not the fandom we were matched on, but you're looking for something to switch to, this is a good one, because all of it is available online. If this is the fandom we were matched on, you get double gold stars just for offering it. ♥
I'm afraid I can't really offer any suggestions on what, exactly, I'd like to see here - just Sparrow Hill Road fic at all. Pick your favorite urban legend that takes place on the road and stick Rose in the middle of it. Or force her to deal with someone who happens to have heard the Pretty Little Dead Girl version of the story. Or some other plotbunny that strikes your fancy.
I am in love with the ghost roads themselves. I'd especially like to see some exploration of the routewitches, or ambulomancers, or any of the types of ghosts that have been mentioned but not explained much in canon. I put down Rose and Apple as my requested characters because I adore Rose and Apple fascinates me and I'd love to get more of her backstory, but they actually don't have to both be in the story, or have huge parts in the story - if you'd rather focus on an OC routewitch or whatever, I will be just as happy. Really.
