If anyone was wondering, I am feeling much better now than I was. Yesterday was truly miserable, but as soon as I threw up everything started getting much better. It was a disturbingly fast turnaround there, not that I'm complaining.
The pain meds, at the moment, are the thing that's fucking me up the most. I'm not taking them constantly like I was yesterday, but when I do take them... They don't precisely knock me out. It's just that they make me fade in and out of consciousness every ten minutes or so, and every now and then when I'm slipping into or out of unconsciousness, I get these lovely auditory hallucinations. Mostly they're things like someone dropping dishes in the other room, or a bunch of people whispering in my ear (okay, that one was really creepy), but there was that once I very clearly heard a TARDIS outside. That one was actually pretty cool.
I'm still not able to focus long enough to do very much that's productive, and the inability to stay awake isn't helping with that, but I'm hoping in the next day or two I'll get to where productivity is possible. I'm kind of at the point where anything I get done feels like an accomplishment just because it takes so much effort to manage it.
Happy things not related to my crappy immune system:
- NEW TORCHWOOD SOON YAY!
