Dear LJ,
Last night, I went to bed when it was actually dark out and slept for a whole ten hours. It was weird. Really weird.

...Anyway. Yes. A large part of the actual sane sleep schedule was that A) I hadn't slept for more than a few hours at a time for the past couple days and B) I actually got out of the house yesterday. There was tea. And books. And Changeling. Yay, existence of a world outside the house! (I swear I do better with existence outside the house in other cities, where there are reasons to go outside. Tampa has no such thing. Trust me. In fact, I think Tampa actively discourages me from leaving the house.)

Writing is happening slowly. Very slowly. *Grumbles* I need to write faster. And remember what focus is. I should hunt down the word war chat - I haven't done that this year, and it would help. A lot. But first, I think I'm going to make coffee.

Also, I procrastinate with memes... apparently:
 THE ANONYMOUS FEEDBACK MEME

Because I'm a big fan of feedback and attention, and yes, I do go into a bit of withdrawal in November when I'm not posting anything fannish. I KNOW, IT'S A PROBLEM.

...And yes, I did remove the colors from that link. You know why? Because they look HIDEOUS on my journal layout. I mean, most colors would, but bright blue and purple? Really?

Oh Aubrey, I love you and your aesthetics.

*Snerk* I make no apologies. I can't fix LJ's lack of aesthetics, but GOD DAMN IT, I can make horrible, horrible font colors not appear on my journal.

HI!

*LOVESNUGS*

HOW ARE YOU?

Even though, I'm in chat with you right now and have your IM that I could easily... utilize. What? Logics do not work with this brain.

Psssh. Commentspam is clearly superior. This way THE WORLD CAN SEE OUR EPIC LOVE.

Er. Um. Something like that.

...I'm going to get coffee. Which I meant to do... you know... ten minutes ago. When I posted this. And then I got distracted by things like not wanting to be killed by ghosts. (I have no way to explain that.)

HOW ARE YOU?

YES, WORLD! SEE OUR EPIC LOVE! SEE IT.

Hee, something. ;)

Mmm, coffee. I should get alcohol, but that might not be a good idea cause I'm sick.

Aw, no explanation at all? Cause it seems like it needs some explainin'. Lucy, you has some splanin' to do.

I'm sick and tired, but I'm good other than that! It's Friday! One week left! Epic Rift posting will happen then! I can't wait! Plus, just... FREEDOM.

I've been considering alcohol, I'm just a little concerned it would put me to sleep. It's probably not the best idea when you're sick either. *Snuggles* Be well again! I command it!

I would explain if I could! But the thought process that led to it is... special and I'm not sure I could do it again. It had to do with random bugbites or... something on my arm, and then I ended up at the concern that I would be killed by ghosts. MY BRAIN IS ODD.

Yay, Friday! Yay, one week! SO MUCH YAY, RIFTPOSTING! I am excited for you.

Rizzy's body: Well. I must listen. If the great Aubrey commands it, I must be well, again! Ha ha! <((speed racer laugh))

*snugs* Thank you, baby. I will do my best.

Haha, aww! You're so cute. I'm sorry for the random bugbites or the something. You're not allowed to be killed by ghosts though so.

I am so excited for me, too. XD I've missed the Rift. And you. And role playing with you even though we're fixing that now, but still. I get all lonely and disconnected floating in the abyss of school.

I, also, love that icon. It makes me flail and blush, and I'm not quite sure why. I'm running out of appropriate ones to use in this thread line. Clearly, I need more.

Awww. *Cuddleloves* For some reason I always pull out my most adorable icons when I'm talking to you. YOU BRING OUT THE CUTE, RIZZY.

Aw! :D I'M OKAY WITH IT.

You always have such adorable icons. It's part of the reason I'm prompted to comment at all! Nah, just kidding. :p

I respond to anonymous memes, and then I post them in my LJ and I never get replies. I know no one knows it's me when I respond, but I feel like some kind of anonymous meme karma would come around. I fail at them, somehow. Or maybe people feel they can praise me to my face? Could stand some more of that, lol.

Yay for sleep! ♥♥♥

I PRAISE YOU TO YOUR FACE! ...and sometimes in anonymous memes too, because I totally remember commenting to a couple of those for you. (And I'm totally going to get around to reading and commenting on those most recent chapters of your NaNo soon, I just can't read anything until I've caught up on my word count of FAIL.)

I like sleep, I just wish I didn't have to do so much of it. *Grump* Why can't it be optional?

Hehehe, I accept praise in all forms, thank you.

Sleep would be far better if we could just decide when to be sleepy and when to be awake instead of half-state awake and then unable to sleep when in bed.

Speaking of word count of fail... I need to do something about that, myself.

Seriously. Stupid need for sleep. Who decided that was a good idea?

*Snuggles* Good luck not failing at word count! Go forth and write well! (Or, you know, at all, because writing well is for after November sometimes. Whatever.)

10 hours sounds ... pretty good right now. This was approximately the Longest Week Ever at my school (yay for the end of the quarter. And by yay I mean boo.) I hope to exceed your achievement tomorrow morning by a good hour or two ...

:ganks meme: The promise of anonymity is alluring to me a.) because I too am somewhat addicted to being told I am good at things, and b.) on some level I continually am waiting for someone to pop out of the woodwork and tell me that I need to stop kidding myself. Let's hear it for self-respect!

Good luck with that! Sleeping forever is always a good idea after weeks of DOOM like that.

Ahah, yes. The love is good and awesome to have (though I'm always left going "Damn it, who IS that? I MUST KNOW!"), but I kind of always hope that the anonymous will encourage people to say anything critical they might not normally. ...Never really happens, but still. ^^

YAY GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE... I need to do that at some point soon. I just... Don't has a car of my own and am greatly dependant on other people to drive me places and I'm too nice to ask to just go places for the sake of... Going. Uh.. OH! YAY CHANGELING.... Yeah, weeks later, my ridiculous love for that movie has not ebbed. I saw a trailer for it and my insatiable desire to punch Captain Jones IN THE FACE returned with a passion. JEFFREY DONOVAN. OSCAR NOMINATION. NEEDS TO HAPPEN. *coughs* Yes.

*breaks out the writing encouragement pompoms again?* ♥!

*Snuggles* Yeah, I know that feeling, and I have so much sympathy for you. This is why living in actual cities with such things as A) stuff in walking distance or B) public transportation is awesome. ...Yeah, I miss Manhattan. I had a social life there.

ALSO, YES. CHANGELING. Oh God, Jeffrey Donovan was AMAZING. Which is unsurprising - I will watch literally anything with him in it just to see him act, which is actually rare for me. It's him and John Simm. I will watch things I can't stand just to see them.

♥! 600 more words before midnight. I can totally do that, right?

I have issues where I get freaked in large crowds, so I'd have to find a small ickle city with plenty of things within walking distance of an apartment. XD But anything is honestly better than living out in the boonies. THERE ARE NO BEARS IN THE CITY.

...Okay, there aren't any bears here and there could be bears in the city, and... I don't know where I was going with that line of thought. I apparently just default to bears.

Hee! There's a few actors I'll do that for too, so I totally get that. GOD HELP ME I'M REALLY GOING TO SEE THAT CHILDREN OF THE CORN REMAKE. And oh Jeffrey Donovan- SO MUCH LOVE. I'm going to have to watch Touching Evil at some point. Just 'cause.

YES. YOU TOTALLY CAN. GO, AUBREY, GO!

Comment jacking, but you should trying and find Jeffery Donovan's episodes of Pretender. Granted, he was only in two episodes, but one of them was my favorite. To this day, I see him in things and my first thought it is still his character on Pretender. And that was in the late 90's. I'm glad he's known now.

I should definitely try and find that somehow! The first thing I saw him in was Touching Evil, and OMGLOVE, but Jeffrey Donovan in The Pretender sounds awesome.
