I wrote things for On a Saturday for the first time in months! I don't care that it's only a page and change handwritten at the moment. IT IS PROGRESS. ZOMG.

...I don't know why I use this icon half the time when I talk about OaS. It's possible Kara is just the patron saint of that entire verse. I'm not sure if that's adorable or a little worrying.

And now I may have to continue that handwriting thing, because while I was planning to write more on the computer... sudden cramp in my left hand. It hurts. A lot. Makes typing difficult. WHY?

Also, I keep yawning, and we're out of coffee. That's got to be fixed. Like, now.

I love writing by hand. At least 70% of all the writing I have ever done in my life was initially handwritten. I actually once took a class with a published author whose books I read in college who hand-wrote all her novels... using a Chinese calligraphy brush, a black ink block, and massive, massive amounts of yellow legal pads.

It was amazing. Really... truly awe-inspiring.

I used to write all the time in notebooks. I kind of miss it, but all the notebooks I have at the moment are so full of random stuff instead of coherent projects that I just get annoyed with them. Bah.

It's possible I should get myself some new notebooks.

(...That WINS EVERYTHING EVER. I would totally do that if I still went to church. I write... not girlporn (or any porn) when we have boring speakers. But I still write. *nods* When I have to go to church (to perform with the band, etc,) I just sit there and think about magic and ritual versus mass, and it makes me feel very blasphemous.)
