I meant to get up earlier than I did. But the thing is, when Evie came to wake me up, I was having a dream in which the Doctor was having an argument with someone, and he wanted very badly to finish making his point. So I told Evie, very sleepily, to give me a minute. And then the Doctor got carried away and I fell asleep (yeah, I was dreaming while still half-awake - it happens a lot), and I may've stayed in bed for another half-hour. I really wish I could remember what the Doctor was so adamant about. Stupid dreams and my stupid inability to remember them.

My emotions have been in a really weird state of flux lately. Either I'm having trouble having them at all and not interested in anything, or it's just depression or overwhelming rage at the world for no good reason and... augh. It makes productivity of any kind really difficult.

I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] ficfinishing with "The Distance Between Yesterday and Tomorrow", so I can hopefully get that done this month and then have October for NaNo planning. Wouldn't that be awesome? I'm not sure if I believe it's actually going to happen, but hey, it's only... 6000 words. Ish. And it's pre-plotted. How hard can it be? (Oh God, did I really just say that?)

Here, have some Torchwood fic recs. 'Cause it's necessary. And alright, they're both by [livejournal.com profile] lionessvalenti, and maybe I betaed them, but that's got nothing to do with the fact that they are love.

The Stillwater Desert - Jack and Ianto and the Doctor on a trip to an ice planet, with, naturally, mystery aliens. I have been just waiting for this to be posted in a place where I could actually throw it at people, since it was written over a month ago. Plus, it's Jack/Ianto fic in which Gwen is present and wonderful and OMGGWEN. I love Tracey's Gwen, and her Ianto.

The Rules of the Game - As a warning, this is porn. Shameless porn. But there are drug-dealing aliens, so I had to rec it. DRUG-DEALING ALIENS. (I have the weirdest fic kinks, guys, I swear.) And again, Jack/Ianto fic with Gwen being wonderful and TEAM BANTER. Seriously guys, I don't even usually like Jack/Ianto fic, but I loved this story.

I was like "fic recs!" and then... they were my fics. Which made me feel warm and fuzzy, but I've kind of read them. :D

Ugh, NaNo. I'm going to feel compelled and then... it won't happen. Plus, I'm doing [livejournal.com profile] thestopwatch. Maybe I'll just count all the words I write for [livejournal.com profile] thestopwatch fics and see if I can get them to add up to 50k. I'm writing, that's the important part, right?

*Grins* I thought about including a couple recs that weren't you, but... then I didn't feel like going through my bookmarks. I'm a little lame sometimes.

That totally counts! And hey, I will never say no to a ton of Traceyfic. I encourage this plan. (Though it's less fun when there is not a notebook I can steal. DAMMIT.)
