In some universe, the answer to the Doctor being full of angst is lighting the TARDIS console on fire.

This universe is apparently the land of my headspace.

In my defense, the TARDIS was already damaged and the fire was more a side effect of the Doctor forgetting about that due to aforementioned angst of doom. I still love you!
