On the one hand, it's quite cute that Ace doesn't want to let me or Evie out of her sight, and spazzes when she thinks we've abandoned her. One of us moves more than three feet from her, and she looks all concerned. Any further than that, and she tends to run after us.

On the other, it's less cute when this means she cries all. Night. Long. Loudly. She makes sounds like she's being tortured. And then she quiets down to "dying squeaky toy" mode before starting up again.

I'm really praying she cuts this out before the neighbors get annoyed. She's probably not loud enough to keep them up, just me and Evie, but you never know...

Note to self: It's a good idea to actually put coffee in the machine before attempting to make coffee. Just for future reference.

It's too early for this.

Yeah, that's the unfortunate side of Puppy Motherhood. Javert used to do the same thing anytime he wasn't around people, and I don't think he ever stopped until he was grown up enough to realize that people not being in his sight does not equal people being GONE FOREVER OH NOEZ.

She might stop doing that once she realizes the crating is regular, once it's a routine. I know my dog, Beanie, did the same thing until he got used to the fact that it was going to be like that every night.

best of luck with her! I can wait to meet heromggg. XD

Yeah, I'm hoping she'll catch on quick - she's catching on quickly to other things, so... I think she just has to realize that us leaving her in another room for the night does not mean she'll NEVER SEE US AGAIN OMG. Crazy dog.

Aww, she probably will, then. It's still cute, though, that she's that omgattached to you guys. xD
