Less than five hours of sleep? So much not good.
Especially when I got woken up to give the puppy a bath because she made a mess in her crate overnight. And after giving the puppy her bath, I realized I was so hungry that it hurt and I wanted to cry, but even the thought of food made me violently nauseous. Finally managed to get down a couple pieces of toast, but... *Grumblemutter* Not even coffee can fix this.

writerinadrawer, though, which makes me feel slightly better. It's just a practice round, but still. Writing is happening! Writing that consists of Jack being vaguely pathetic, even if he doesn't realize it and Gwen's not noticing at all. I notice it, and it makes me laugh. (And after I finish that, I need to write the next scene of my fucked up timelines fic, so I can actually post it... Yes.)
Meanwhile, I'm restraining myself from joining my first angel to the Rift just yet. No matter how awesome and badass she is. (Of course she's badass - she works in television. ...Sadly, I'm not joking about that. Cracky character concept is cracky?) I was thinking about joining a demon, since we're going to need someone powerful and evil to take Calisto's place once she ded of Doctor, but I just... really have no interest in playing a demon right now (besides Annie, who doesn't count because she's cute and fluffy). Clearly, the solution is just to join a FUCKING BADASS angel who thinks Brando's a sissy. Or something like that.
The other character I'm thinking about joining is one of the Rift guardians. Just so we'd have an EXPLANATION for why the hell they're never around. Thing is, I'd have to get Evie to play the other half of the pair. Because they are very much a unit. And we've talked about it.
I apologize to those of you on my flist who aren't in the Rift and know nothing about it. Occasionally I just have to have my random nonsensical rambles about it. The awesomeness of it compels me. And I'm in a mood to RP to make up for the way today started out. Problem with that is that no one's around at 8 AM... Blah. Why must the rest of the world be asleep when I'm not? (In this case, "the rest of the world" consists of the portion of the internet I care about.) The internet better wake up soon, or I'm going to start writing Rift OT3 fic out of self-defense. ...Actually, knowing you people, that may not be the threat it's supposed to be. Damn it.
EDIT: In case anyone was wondering, feeling slightly better now. A large part of it is just that I have issues existing before 9 AM at the very earliest. But my day has improved, due to finishing my own fic, and reading a couple others. Speaking of which...
Blame the Sun (No Sun of Mine) - AU from Army of Ghosts. In which Yvonne is awesome and Ten makes me flail and oh. Just. Yes.
How to Lose Friends and Alienate People - Another Ten/Yvonne fic (yes, this has become one of my new favorite pairings), also AU from Army of Ghosts. Not my favorite of the two, and I've got a few issues with it toward the beginning (though most of those stem from my ideas of how Ten's sexuality works, so it could just be me), but the dialogue makes me happy, the writing's good, and oh, the last two scenes (especially the second-to-last) make up for any problems I had with it in the beginning. Angry!Ten for the win.
And meanwhile, I've come up with a crackpairing I need to write that's even better than Ten/Yvonne (which I do want to write at some point because it is just that awesome). But... yes. Crackpairing combines my love for two awesome characters who get no love in fandom and... I need to find a plotbunny for it so I can share the awesome it is in my head.

Ironically enough, I was thinking of opening up the Firsts and death angels. Actually. XD Considering the earthquake and the newly opened section of the Rift and Calisto actually killing someone who came THROUGH the Rift, I think it's enough to cause both to happen.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she us. Unless she does something crazy soon and is all "ZOMGSURPRISE!"' but I'm hoping she won't, so yes. muse be Jez. And it's a character you wouldn't know unless you've read Poppy Z. Brite's Exquisite Corpse which...Somehow I doubt you've read. XD
