You know, randomly? I really, really wish people would put word counts on their fic. I don't even need a specific word count. You can round it to the nearest hundred or whatever. Just a general ESTIMATE... Is it really so hard?

That's probably a good thing because I don't see them ending anytime soon. Though I haven't been too whiny lately. A little bitchy, but nothing has really pissed me off too much in the last week or so. Knock on wood?

Hmm... I just looked at the entries for today's redismycolour and only three out of eight people posted word counts in their headers. I guess I never really noticed because I'm not reading 75% of them anyway.

I often do not post word counts. But we must also look at how much fic I post. Not much.

Yeah... I just like to know before I click the link how long I can expect to spend reading a fic, and word counts are the quickest way of figuring that out. Sometimes I can manage by looking at the scrollbar, but if there are any comments at all, that screws up that estimate...

...I'm really picky about some really random things. This is one of them.

Oh no, I understand, I really do! It's one of those things that, now that I think of, seems like a very practical thing to have on a fic. I am going to start doing that.
