Time is a dare, and I'm trying too...

Oh, fine, fine, flist, I give in.

Step One: Look at Ye Olde Character List.
Step Two: Break out your character journals and have them ask my characters questions. If they have no questions, have them... I dunno. Say a word or random phrase and I'll throw a character at them to talk about that word or phrase and they can have existential debates about paperclips if that's their kink. The point is random, pointless, stressfree CR. If you demand an explanation out of one of my characters or have legitimate questions, personally and OOC-ly, I can also deal with that.
Step Three: There is no step three.

I feel like my character list is missing things. Huh. Also, for some reason, LJ hates Barrowman. It has EATEN most of the icons that belong to my Barrowman characters. ...All two of them.

[Cáela] Guardian angels are reactive forces. Support capacity only. Their callings lead them away from being instigators, actors, realizers.

I find that it's best to rely on the Angels of Knowledge to draw up the systems, and Archangels and Angels of Vengeance to see it through. Much fewer cracks, and everything runs smoothly.

Well. As smoothly as can be expected.

Do you talk just to hear your voice? It's not that interesting.

Is there anything else in your head? Turn the page, it's an old story and it's boring me.

[Jamal] Oh, baby. Yeah, they have those quirks. Mostly if you're getting in the way of their business, so I've seen. So what I do is hang back, let them talk fast, then see them out of the trouble they get themselves into. and make sure to recognize they're smarter than you'll ever be.

[identity profile] hisfurryproblem.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I guess that's all you can do. I'm just waiting for the day it will end. If that ever comes.

My friends.

[identity profile] theweatherguy.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. Oh yes, I think that could be a little difficult. See, I could broadcast the weather anywhere, but that? Yes. Well, maybe you should consider a vacation sometime.

[Gene] About this big, brown, 'n' furry. I think its name was Arthur, but it answers to bloody anything.

[Amanda] Is there a reason we can't have both?

Giving up generally means quitting, leaving someone behind and it's not worth it. Never is. Keeping them around is difficult, makes me worry, but I couldn't travel without them, either.

Ever just had a great fuckin' day? The kind that, when you wake up, you just want to suffocate yourself with your pillow just so you can get back to sleep and forget about it?

You probably don't want to know. ...and if you do, you probably don't want me to tell you.

Did you happen to notice that within the first two hours of having met you in this universe, we got attacked by one of the most terrifying scourges of the old universe? And, granted, I don't exactly lead a life free of danger, but normally I manage a lot better than that. And you and Gwen are, to date, the only Torchwood employees who've wound up the target of an executive action, and except for contracting a plague, Gwen's otherwise been doing pretty well here.

[identity profile] xandtheman.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I just saw you yesterday, Buffster, I know I'm hard to go a day without, but... unless you've got more friends that I don't know about. I guess your friends from LA would count.

[identity profile] xandtheman.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Hey. I like the way you think. Some people have preferences. Some people can't handle all the meat!

There are two kinds of people in the world, sausage people and pepperoni people.

[identity profile] soldatceryi.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
No, that is wrong. Soldiers? Do not have purposes. Not of their own. Rather it is the leaders who have purposes for soldiers. And do you think it means anything, to be bred for war? War does not care who is bred for it.

It is excellent that technology has unexpected results.

[identity profile] ifshesforreal.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Who hasn't? I'd advise against it, though. I've heard suffocation isn't as nice as it sounds.

[Mendek] Why was the dead child better? I did not design these nanogenes. I like animals. Should I ask Arruk who did?

[identity profile] jexec.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, high marks in something are appreciated. I think.

Neither of our SUVs are marked at the moment, but I'll take that into account. Even if we don't have any reason to visit UNIT in this universe, and I'm not sure they know we exist.

...Should we have official ID if we are going to be a public resource around here?

[identity profile] agreatday.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, so have I. But sometimes it just sounds great. You should see the traffic jam in this city. Fuckin' huge and I am saying to hell with work. The bus can't even move a few feet per hour.

[identity profile] trademydemons.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't think it's a quirk, I think it's sadism. But I'll try and remember that.

[identity profile] definitivestep.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:38 pm (UTC)(link)
...You don't know your dog's name. Wonderful.

[identity profile] getdamaged.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[Gene] I said Arthur! Not that it matters; the thing'd probably answer to Sam Tyler if you called it that.

[identity profile] watchmetropolis.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
[Jamal] Have you ever considered looking for another line of work? Or another girlfriend; I don't know your situation.

[identity profile] spoilerpatrol.livejournal.com 2009-01-16 06:48 pm (UTC)(link)
I know what you mean. I know someone just like that - he's very good at it too, as long as he has someone with a bit more common sense along. Not giving up is all well and good, but sometimes he just needs a smack.
