It is Evie's birthday. She is 22 now. Meaning... ancient. (I LOVE YOU, EVIE.) Happy birthday, baby.

We've been playing a Buffy drinking game with season seven all day. Meaning, I've been in a pleasant buzz since about 5 PM.

Important points of today include:
- Realizing Evie and I really ship Anya/Willow in S7. Like... really, really hard. We haven't watched S7 a lot, but watching it now... Jesus fuck they are shippy. And we prefer them to Willow/Kennedy. So.
- Annie (ourowndragons, Rift Annie) really reminds us of Anya. And realizing this, we came up with an awesome plot for Annie and oh it is going to be so fun. Yay, demon angst!
- Sam is getting his Torchwood Four and OMG IT IS FULL OF GLEE! Revan and Juliet have been recruited, Marshall has arrived and Tosh will soon tell Sam in no uncertain terms that he needs Marshall, and YAY. It's weird, because I keep forgetting that Torchwood Four doesn't exactly exist in Torchwood canon. I have to remind myself that no, Sam/Jack is not canon, and no, Juliet cannot replace Owen in S3 because Juliet is from a totally different universe and... yes.
- Those of you I owe tags for with the Doctor and Romana? You will get them... probably tomorrow. I need to be able to think to play either of them, and it's not working so well right now.

And I totally fail at writing lately. I don't know why, and it really annoys me. I'm trying to decide whether I actually can write now, or whether I'm just slightly too tipsy to manage anything coherent. Hmm.

Also, someone clarify for me that there is no Doctor Who today? That seems to be the case, from both TVTorrents and the BBC website, I just want to... doublecheck.

No Doctor Who. Good thing, too. I don't have anywhere to download it and I'd throw a fit.

*giggles* I'm pretty much convinced the Rift is going to destroy every canon it boasts (and some PB's for original characters) for me, because every time I watch that canon, I'm going to be thinking of it in terms of what went on in the Rift and the like, and it'll be crazy.

I have three McKenas Cole icons, I've just realized randomly. Not bad for a character who only appeared in three episodes. That is just how awesome he is.
