I lost my shoe. :(
Oh God. Evie and I need to never watch Supernatural at night. Except that we, you know, always do.
And then I end up not able to go into the bathroom or bedroom until Evie makes sure that there are no monsters in there. ...And we may have salted the windowsill and doorway before going to bed. Just a bit. It's the creepy kids that get me. Every time.
And now I'm going to try to write something for
writerinadrawer before actually sleeping (or before Evie drags me to bed - I'm told I have 45 minutes). Which I'm sucking at a bit. *Flails* This is, among other things, is why I want a big red countdown clock. Someone get me a big red countdown clock for my birthday. Which is not until October, granted. I'm just saying.
EDIT: Okay, I had to share this conversation, for it is awesome.
newredshoes: It will be okay. Sam and Dean will kick down your door if anything happens!
Me: ...That would be interesting, considering that Evie and I sleep with no clothes on.
newredshoes: Dean would do this: :-D!
Sam would be like, EYES UP FRONT, FIGHTING THE EVIL, DEAN.
And Dean would be like, OKAY, OKAY. *kicks ass and macks on you both*
And Sam would facepalm.
You know it would happen like that.
EDIT II: Okay... well... I just wrote something that doesn't fit the prompt at all? How's that?
...No good? Yeah, I thought so. *Stares mournfully at it* And now there are two places I could go with this story and I want to do both at once and DAMN IT. *Facepalms* I didn't my brain to run off and write things totally unrelated to the prompt. Really. What the hell?

And yes, you do. You really do. How do you sleep with these thoughts in your head? (Well, the fact that there are no small children in your house should help, but STILL.)
Hee! Andrew! Damn, you just reminded me I need to finish that story with Andrew as the Doctor's companion. Yeah, using and looking at the icon didn't remind me. You mentioning his name did. My brain is a special place.

I don't know how I sleep. It just kind of happens when I lay down.
I had some crossover fic with Andrew that I started and never finished, but I can't remember. Harry Potter, maybe? I don't know.

*Gigglefits* That should not be as funny as it was. That may be a sign that I need to sleep.
...Andrew would be ridiculous in Harry Potter verse. Then again, he's ridiculous in pretty much verse you put him in, including his own, and he's even worse in Whoverse, but it's a very fun thought.

Yeah. Since I left the comment, I remembered. It was some idea my sister and I did together where Giles and Willow went to teach DADA and Muggle Studies, respectively, and Andrew came along because he's a Squib and Snape is his uncle. Because we thought that was the most ridiculous thing we could think of, and if it's not ridiculous, it's not Andrew. :)
My problem I run into with Who and Torchwood is that I come up with such fabulous ideas and then I can't get the characters right AT ALL. I fail at Whoverse.
