I enjoy this meme. Especially since I inevitably end up using it to decide what I'm writing for people every year. If for some reason you need my address, let me know and I'll e-mail you. ^^

Step One:
* Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two:
* Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

• A paid account, for I am an icon whore, and 15 icons is just not enough. Also, the ads are getting irritating. Damn you, LJ. Personal journal is the main one, though if you feel like it, I wouldn't mind it for my RP journals either, especially Angel, Angua or Buffy (links on my profile).
  
• Any random books you happen to have lying around would be awesome. Especially science fiction, fantasy, or tie-in books for any of my fandoms (I have a perverse love of the Buffyverse tie-in novels, even when they are painful, and I would love any Doctor Who novels), but anything, really. If there's a book you love that I haven't read and want to share? Go for it.
  
• As always, fic (original or fanfic), art, icons, a mix, whatever. There's a list of specific request at the bottom of this post, but anything written/made for me will make me happy. If you'd like me to give you a specific request just from you, just ask.
  
• This is a little insane and random, but I've been wanting these for so long - fandomy clothes. Specifically, a Sports Night/CSC jacket (like Natalie's wearing in "Mary Pat Shelby" and "The Head Coach, Dinner, and The Morning Mail" - it's got the CSC logo on the front and the Sports Night logo on the back, though you can't see that in the cap, and ZOMGWANT), a Studio 60 shirt like the one Cal has in "The Christmas Show", a "Matt is my hero and Danny thinks Moliere was Italian" shirt, a brown leather coat (or, really, any kind of leather coat, especially if it's long and swishy - I have a thing). There has to be a way to have the first two made, really, and I'm fairly sure the third already exists.
  
• Notebooks and pens will always, always, always make me happy. Especially notebooks that are durable and will not fall apart when I've been carrying them for a while.
  
• An external hard drive would be nice. I need a place to store my TV and video boots, and my computer? Rapidly running out of space. *Grumblegrowr*
  
• Yarn and knitting needles. All of my knitting stuff is in Long Island, and I like having something to do with my hands when I'm watching TV and stuff.
  
• If by some miracle the strike ends by Christmas, DVDS - specifically, Studio 60, The West Wing (especially early seasons), and Buffy (especially seasons 2 and 3). If the writers strike has not ended by Christmas? A WGA bracelet or shirt will do just fine. ^^ (DVDs unaffected by the strike: Doctor Who. Any season.)
  
• A copy of the One Step Beyond anthology. No, it's not out yet, but it should be soonish, and I would love to have one.

Sports Night
- Dan/Dana or Dana/Jeremy. Do not ask me why. I don't know. Although I know the Dana/Jeremy comes from that quick little touch in "The Hungry and the Hunted"... Um. Anyway.
- Absolutely anything with Rebecca
- Same goes for Kim and Elliot fic. They are the best buddies ever! Why is there no fic for them?
- Younger Dana and Casey, in college. Or younger Dana, Casey and Dan, at Lonestar Sports. I requested this at sn_holidays, but I'm requesting it again here because I almost never see fic from these time periods and I want it.
- Dan/Casey/Dana or Casey/Dana/Natalie. They are my bulletproof threesomes for this fandom.

Studio 60
- I am firmly of the belief that Simon is gay. Therefore, I would love to see a fic in which Simon comes out. Extra bonus points if you have a conversation between Harriet and Simon about it, if Simon is gay with Tom, or if Matt already knew and that's part of why he fought with Harriet so much over the gay thing.
- Suzanne/Harriet or Harriet/Jordan
- Genfic with Cal
- Lucy and Darius buddyfic. Especially if it's set in the future and they are either running the writer's room, or Matt and Danny have moved on and they've taken Matt and Danny's place.
- Matt and Danny buddyfic, especially if it's the first time they worked at Studio 60, or the period in between leaving S60 and getting their job back.
- WGA strike fic. I've already written it. The rest of you need to get on it. I would especially like to see Jack's reaction to the strike, oh God. Though fic with Jordan in it would be nice too.

Miscellaneous
- Burn Notice - Michael and Fiona at Disneyworld. I don't even know how this idea came about - somehow Sarah is to blame, and then there were conversations about Fi making Michael go on It's a Small World twelve times just to torment him and... now I really want to see it. What can I say?
- Chess - As always, Walter/Molokov is shiny fun. The angstier, the better.
- Chess/Buffy - This is cracky and more than a little scary, but it sort of... came up in conversation as I want it. Anatoly, Florence, Freddie and Svetlana as vampires. They would so be the Angelus, Darla, Spike and Drusilla of the chess world. It is fantastic.
- Dirty Sexy Money - Brian/Nick or Nick/Jeremy. Seriously, this does not exist why?
- Inn-fic or Hearts and Minds fic. AU and crack are perfectly fine for these if you like. ^^
- Pushing Daisies - Olive/Chuck, or Olive/Emerson. Or maybe Olive/Ned/Chuck, because it should be.
- Sandman/anything. Especially if it involves Death, Morpheus, or Delirium.

Original
- Fic or art of my stories/characters. Especially Nate, David and Tamara, or Dan and Zachary (and possibly Becky). Just... 'cause.
- Urban fantasyness, plz? Really, anything. I would especially like something that's all bright and shiny and happy but not. Like... Pushing Daisies with vampires. Or, y'know, fairies or whatever. Just... I don't know. The thought of it pleases me, and I couldn't write it myself, so.

If you want to disregard this list altogether and write something else entirely, I would not object. In general, minor pairings are good. Functional threesomes (or foursomes) are good. ...As are dysfunctional relationships of any kind.
Pairings or romance are not necessary - genfic is nice too. And when in doubt, angst.

And now! Anyone who wants a Christmas fic from me, this is the place to request it. Anything from any fandom we share or something original, can be an actual Christmas story or not - if you want a Christmas fic set in July, that's fine by me. It helps if you give me specific characters/a specific pairing and some sort of situation you'd like to see, but if you just want to give me general things, I will try to work with that.

And keep in mind that I might be a little late this year, as I have three ficathons I'm writing for on top of people's Christmas gifts. You know how I'm always late with gift fics? Yes. But I will write them, I swear!

I wasn't going to request, but then Ideas That You Would Write Better popped into my head. Plus, I can bug YOU to write them eventually, while I suck at doing that to myself. XD So! You get two choices, both with two options.

1. Roger/Maureen fluff, on the Strange Nonreligious And Cheap Winter Holiday Of The Loft. Either Here On In verse, or inspired by the song Baby It's Cold Outside. (Or if you could manage both, hell, go for it.)
2. River/Mal (actual relationship, please). Angst in the form of either Mal not being able to understand River, or if you really want to go angsty, the two of them prisioners together after failing to win a second war against the Alliance (or failing to get one started, whatever). Bonus points for Calm But Obviously Abnormal River (see The Train Job, many points in Safe, Out of Gas ["We'll freeze to death first"], Ariel ["They took away Christmas."], etc), Christmas Eve/Christmas/Yule/Generic Winter Holiday Of The Future, and/or use of the line and the history books forgot about us.

(And if you don't request something or, actually, even if you DO request something I may have to try my hand at the first S60 story. >.>)
